Alison Hammond didn’t prove to be popular with some This Morning viewers after she made an awkward quip about Michael Jackson.
The TV host, who is standing in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield this week, was speaking with doctor Sara Kayat on Monday’s episode and decided to seek the doc’s advice.
Flashing her forearm, Alison explained that she had come up in what she’d assumed was a bumpy heat-rash but the doctor wasn’t convinced.

Holding up her skin condition so that the doctor could take a look, she quipped: “Guys look at it, look at the pigmentation.”
Alison’s co-star Dermot asked: “And it’s not itchy?”
“No it’s not itchy but it has raised and I am changing colour. That’s so strange, I feel like Michael Jackson,” quipped the star.
Dermot was left speechless and in total disbelief at her comment as he moved his head closer to the table to hide his reaction.
The doctor was also dumbfounded as she awkwardly attempted to carry on with the discussion.
This was spotted by fans on Twitter – with some finding the segment hilarious while others were less than impressed.
One person penned: “Alison is changing colour…and is like Michael Jackson?? #ThisMorning lol.”
Another comment read: “Only Alison could make such a comment & bring Michael Jackson into it! #thismorning.”
“I hope Alison ends the show with a Shaaaaamone rather than ‘Bye’…#ThisMorning,” joked a third.
As other online users raged, writing: “Did she really compare herself to Michael Jackson.. #ThisMorning.”
“I bet she’s regretting saying that! #ThisMorning,” added a second.
As a third penned: “Oh, Alison, why’d you have to bring MJ into this? #ThisMorning.”
