Amal Clooney struggled to fight back the tears as she presented an award at The Prince’s Trust Awards.
The Award ceremony was aired on ITV on Thursday, May 26, with Amal taking to the stage to present the last award of the evening.
Looking dazzling, Amal graced in front of the cameras in a fantastic floor-sweeping floral gown as she took to the stage to honour a very special lady.
George Clooney’s wife had the biggest presenting gig of the evening which was handing out the Women’s Empowerment Award – the first of its kind.
The deserving winner was Tanzila Khan who despite being disabled had continued to battle for women’s rights to education in Pakistan.
Tanzila was also responsible for creating a business that allowed women in her country the right to sanitary products – which she explained were not so freely available.
After Amal’s empowering and emotional speech, Tanzila took to the stage to collect her award from hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
Tanzila went on to explain all of her hard work and dedication to providing women with equal opportunities and sanitisation products.
Fans were simply left in awe of her brilliance and took to Twitter to air their praises.
One online user wrote: “Wonderful to see amazing female role models like Amal Clooney at the Prince’s Trust Awards – a true beauty with brains!”
