Amanda Owen has spoken out about her recent battles with freezing weather conditions on Ravenseat farm.
The Shepherdess still keeps her followers up to date with her life on the farm via social media despite not longer being part of Channel 5 seres Our Yorkshire Farm.
She took to social media earlier this week to open up about the big freeze the family have been battling with recently.

She also made a joke about her son Reuben Owen, 18, visiting Gretna Green, an historic youth marriage spot.
Amanda told her followers following the recent weather issues: “What a morning ! It never rains but it pours. Or not as the case maybe.
“After the severe cold, then the super fast thaw we are struggling to sort out the natural spring water supply.
“Ice, silt, kinks in pipes etc, signs are that I have some budding enthusiastic plumbers.”
Amanda then replied to a fan, dropping a jokey hint about her son Reuben, 18, and his new girlfriend Sarah going to Gretna Green.
Some remote plumbing advice coming in….both Christmas shopping. Reuben’s at Gretna…..I ‘think’ he’s shopping”
One fan replied: “Are you sure he’s shopping, last time I was there I was asked to witness a wedding…”
In another social media update, Amanda showed off the huge amount of snow Ravenseat was buried under.
It comes after Amanda revealed her home was in “darkness”
She was forced to resort to candles after her countryside home was plunged into darkness due to a severe power cut.
Taking to Twitter, the mum-of-nine shared a snap of one of her young daughters as she held a candle as her only source of light.
Amanda later admitted she also has a burst pipe to deal with.

In the caption, she penned: “No electric on the farm,” followed by the hashtags “#darkness, #candlelight #fire #backtobasics.”
When asked by one of her followers if her internet was still online, she responded: “No, that’s why there’s a time lapse. No mobile signal neither so incommunicado until power restored.”
Her struggles on the farm comes shortly after the first episode of her estranged husband Clive Owen’s show, Beyond the Yorkshire farm, aired on Channel 5.
