Amanda Owen supported by Our Yorkshire Farm fans as they say she must be ‘exhausted’

Amanda Owen had fans of her Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm emotional as she shared some “unbelievable” news.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess announced a big update about her most recent book, Celebrating the Seasons with the Yorkshire Shepherdess.

The book shares anecdotes of Amanda’s life up at Ravenseat, including photographs taken by the Owen family, Amanda’s favourite recipes and more farming favourites.

And, deservedly, Amanda’s new hardback reached number three in the bestseller chart this week.

Taking to Twitter to share her news with fans, an emotional Amanda posted a snap of her son Reuben poring over The Times newspaper clad in their farming gear – and plenty of mud to go with it.

Amanda penned: “Reuben & his mate Tom went to get The Times newspaper as they knew my book was in the bestseller chart this week.

“Number 3… unbelievable. It’s all you folks, followers & friends that made this happen.

“Know that we appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you.”

Fans said the Yorkshire Shepherdess must be ‘exhausted’

Fans immediately rushed to show Amanda their support, with one writing: “Fantastic. I got [your book] for Christmas and loved it. Have tried quite a few of the recipes in it and they’ve all been lovely.”

Another echoed: “So well deserved, not only do you work hard on the farm but you take beautiful photos and put them in a book with all the other bits and pieces you have in there.

“I know there’s help in that but you must be exhausted at night with everything you juggle just to be a mum and earn a living!”

“I love your books, I read them multiple times!” a third fan gushed.

While someone else praised: “What a refreshing insight of family life on the farm!”

Amanda was also on hand with a motivational post this week, as she shared a snap of her daughter Clemmy helping to construct a brick wall.

Amanda added the caption: “Building blocks. Start at ground level and then aim high.”
