Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has credited her daughter for “bringing brightness into a dark place” after the Channel 5 star revealed a number of setbacks at Ravenseat Farm.
Mum-of-nine Amanda, 48, announced her split from husband Clive Owen, 67, back in June, after the couple bought a remote farmhouse in North Yorkshire 2020 and were granted planning permission to renovate the property.
But the TV star and author recently admitted to her social media fans that work had been delayed, as she shared a number of other farm struggles.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess took to Twitter on Friday (November 4) to share an update, including a snap of daughter Nancy holding a lightbulb as she sat in the hay.
She wrote: “Bringing brightness into a dark place,” adding: “In the sink mew, usually stacked from floor to ceiling with hay bales, this year we used another barn.
Her fans were quick to respond, with one writing: “Ah look at Nancy sitting there all on her own and so pretty,” while a second added: “Oh, so lovely. X”
Amanda’s sweet snaps with her daughter were posted as she admitted that her family were subjected to a real “undertaking” at the farm.
She said: “The boys have been mucking out and lasses have been on the firewood. What an undertaking!”

One fan noted: “Hard work but worth it to get free firewood. Good to have all your little helpers,” while a second added: “Not frightened of hard work in your family. That’s called really getting stuck in.”
Amanda also mentioned her son Reuben as she posted another series of pictures, explaining how difficult it was proving to be to clear up the barn.
She tweeted: “These stone barns are a devil to muck out and this one had not been bottomed for a VERY long time”.
