Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly couldn’t resist making a cheeky joke about Seann Walsh’s kiss scandal during the comedian’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! debut.
The 36-year-old entered the jungle alongside Matt Hancock on Wednesday evening (November 9) and the pair have caused quite the stir since their arrival.
As Seann began settling into jungle life, the beloved TV duo wasted no time referencing his steamy kiss with his Strictly Come Dancing dance partner Katya Jones, which was exposed to the public after photos emerged of the embrace in 2018.

During one of their links, Ant joked: “We all know what happened the last time Seann was paired up with someone on a reality show.”

To which Dec replied: “Let’s hope he doesn’t try and get off with Matt Hancock.”
Ant then grabbed Dec’s arm and pointed in his face, warning him: “Never, never say the words ‘get off with Matt Hancock!’ I can’t even say the words. I don’t like saying the words. I don’t like them in my mouth,” before breaking into a smile.
Unable to control his laughter, Dec quipped: “You don’t like the Hancock in your mouth?” before Ant and the crew began cracking up at the joke.

During his VT which aired the night before he entered the jungle, Seann made it clear that he hopes his I’m A Celeb stint will help change the public’s opinion of him following the infamous kiss.
Not long after the stand-up comedian made his debut, fans took to social media to question why he had received so much backlash for the kiss.

One user penned: “Seann Walsh is genuinely one of the best comedians in the country but people still hate him because he kissed his dance partner when he had a gf 4 years ago. It’s so weird.”
“I’d quite like to see Seann win, to make up for him being treated almost like a murderer on Strictly, when all he did was kiss someone he shouldn’t,” agreed a second.
While another echoed: “When are people going to stop going on about the Seann Walsh kiss it’s been 4 years get over it and move on.”
