Great British Bake Off stars Rebs and Abdul both found themselves struck down with an illness during the filming of bread week.
While the pair may have been recovering from their mystery illness away from their tent, the fellow contestants who were left competing on the programme found themselves under more pressure.
Due to Rebs and Abdul both being absent, their co-stars faced a higher chance of being booted from the famous tent although nobody left the show.

During the latest episode of the Channel 4 programme, host Matt Lucas was quick to explain why they were not present in the tent.
The comedian said: “Both Rebs and Abdul are a bit under the weather this week,” before joking: “but with your permission, we thought we’d send them both straight through to the final.”
Fellow host Noel Fielding added: “Only joking, they’re going to miss a week and hopefully they’ll be back next week.”
Following the news, fans instantly took to Twitter to share their reaction, with one saying: “I think now we all understand why Abdul & Rebs called in sick #NotBreadWeek #gbbo.”
“Rebs and Abdul when they see the challenges that they got to miss #GBBO.,” said another alongside a laughing gif.
Before a third commented: “Shame Rebs and Abdul couldn’t make it this week but bread week is so stressful I don’t blame them lol #GBBO.”
“I would call in sick for bread week too, respect Abdul and Rebs #GBBO,” joked another.
Before a fifth typed: “Abdul and Rebs were smart to miss this week #GBBO.”
As viewers tuned in to see the bakers cook sharing-size pizzas, some brands couldn’t help but get in on the action with innocent drinks tweeting: “We reckon Abdul and Rebs are just sat back in the hotel eating Chicago Town microwave pizzas and Greggs’ pastries, laughing about how they get to skip Bread Week. Geniuses. #GBBO.”
While Chicago Town responded: “Abdul and Rebs know where the party is,” with a pizza slice emoji.
As the budding bakers completed the Signature task of putting their spin on a pizza, they were left with a rather difficult task in the Technical segment of the show.
Each baker was faced with making a jaw-dropping Smörgåstårta – a traditional Danish sandwich cake.
The Great British Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
