BBC Breakfast fans distracted as Take That's Mark Owen 'looks different' on show

Take That star Mark Owen has left BBC Breakfast viewers floored with his dramatic look.

The 50-year-old singer appeared on Monday’s (September 26) episode of the morning show to promote his new solo music.

However, as he chatted to hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay, viewers appeared to be more distracted by his moustache

Another added: ” #bbcbreakfast Was that Mark Owen?”

A third person posted: “What’s happened to Mark Owen.”

While a fourth social media user said: “Good Lord, what’s happened to Mark Owen?”

Sally also noticed that Mark had changed up his image.

She said: “You look different. How long has the moustache been there?”

Discussing his facial hair, Mark pointed out: “It’s been there for about four years probably.

“It started off as a beard but it was patchy on the side and then we were going on tour and beards can get a bit sweaty on tour.

“So then it became a moustache and it sort of stuck.

“My children keep threatening to cut it off but i’m like ‘I’ve done the artwork and video so can’t change my image now’.

Earlier in the show, Sally appeared to take a cheeky wipe at her former co-star Dan Walker live on air.

Sally asked Jon: “Did you watch Strictly? Did you watch the launch?”

He replied: “I so a bit of it yes.”

She continued: “It was so exciting. I heard the music and I thought ‘Yeah, i’m ready for it now’.

“I had quite a lot of Strictly last year but i’m definitely ready for it.”

Sally’s comment refers to her former co-star Dan appearing on the BBC dancing show as a contestant last year.
