He’s just become the King of the United Kingdom.
But it appears some BBC viewers thought King Charles III had taken a minute out of his busy day as the new monarch to have a chat with Charlie Stayt on BBC Breakfast.
Viewers were left rather distracted on Thursday morning (September 15) as they thought one bloke, a war veteran, looked remarkably like the new king.

Some fans had to look twice at the man on their screens, and one thought he could rake in some cash if he wanted a future career as a Charles lookalike.
Presenter Charlie Stayt had ditched the Salford studio to appear at Westminster and chat to people queuing up to see Her late Majesty inside Westminster Cathedral.
Thursday marked the first full day of Her late Majesty’s lying in state at Westminster – after she made her final journey from Balmoral to London.
He managed to secure a chat with a well-spoken elderly gentleman dressed in a green coat who bared a striking resemblance to Charles.
When Charlie asked why he’d come to visit the Queen, Charles’ mother, he said: “Well I was in the army for 36 years and the Queen was the Queen, and it’s the only way you can pay her respects for all those years that she gave to the nation.”
It seems he doesn’t live at Buckingham Palace, though, because he told Charlie he’d come from Surrey when asked if he’d come far to visit the Queen’s coffin.
Viewers rushed to comment as they pointed out how similar they thought he looked to Charles.
One wrote: “Thought he was talking to the King at first glance” before another admitted: “Yes as he approached I did a double about.”
A third said: “This gent looked very much like Charles.”
A fourth suggested: “This chap has a future career as a King Charles impersonator in the bag.”
Queues as long as two miles stretched along the South Bank, with mourners queuing up overnight to walk past the Queen’s coffin and bid the monarch a final farewell.
