BBC Breakfast fans were left fuming at host Naga Munchetty after she “repeatedly interrupted” a guest on the red sofa.
Naga was presenting the show alongside co-star Charlie Stayt on Thursday (July 21) as the pair chatted to one firefighter who had been involved in tackling the recent spate of wildfires in the UK.
Ben Levy of the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service was discussing his colleagues who are still out battling the fires, which have been destroying homes and businesses up and down the country.

The officer explained that he has been a firefighter for 25 years, telling the hosts that this week has been a “wake up call” in terms of climate change.
“Buildings and homes damaged by ferocious wildfires in urban areas, it’s just devastating,” he said, as Naga went on to quiz him on the country’s preparedness to deal with the fires.
But as he began to describe the rules about open fires in the country, explaining that packages for barbecues and other flammable items will have instructions and warnings on, Naga interrupted: “But shouldn’t that go further, though? In the sense that the signs should be on parks?
“There should be rules, there are no rules against them so – we were asking about stupid things and saying people do stupid things, but actually they’re not doing anything wrong?
“So it has to go bigger – no fires, no campfires, no barbecues on open land. Is that the next step?”
Ben began to answer her question, but Naga spoke again to say: “Would you push for that?”
Fuming fans took to social media to share their views, with one writing: “@BBCBreakfast can you tell @TVNaga01 to stop talking over the fireman who was on about the recent fires. Not only did he look annoyed I’m sure most others who wanted to listen to him were too.”
Someone else followed up: “@BBCBreakfast disgusting how Naga is interviewing the chief firefighter of GM like she is talking to a politician. Shocking how she was interrupting him.”
As a third fan posted: “@BBCBreakfast could Naga stop interrupting the Fire Officer and let him finish? Her point isn’t more important than his.”
However, others were loving Naga as usual, and instead praised her presenting style, with one writing: “Good to see the A Team back! The lovely Naga and the suave Charlie. Love the banter too!”
Another fan praised Naga’s dress sense, penning: “@TVNaga01 your dress on @BBCBreakfast this morning is so so lovely – looks beautiful on you!”
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
