BBC Breakfast found itself in a huge format shake-up as regular presenter Sally Nugent was notably missing from the red sofa.
The 51-year-old was replaced by Victoria Fritz who presented Monday (October 24) morning’s instalment solo, while Sally’s typical co-host Jon Kay traded the red sofa for a spot outside Number 10.
The newsreader, 52, presented live outside the London residence while the country waits to find out who the next Prime Minister will be following Liz Truss’ bombshell resignation on Thursday (October 20).

Former PM Boris Johnson sensationally pulled out of the race on Sunday evening, leaving ex-Chancellor Rishi Sunak as the favourite to lead the country.
In a statement, Boris, 58, claimed “there is a very good chance” that he would be successful in the election but went on to say that it “would simply not be the right thing to do.”
He concluded his lengthy statement by saying: “Therefore I am afraid the best thing is that I do not allow my nomination to go forward and commit my support to whoever succeeds.
“I believe I have much to offer but I am afraid that this is simply not the right time.”
Liz Truss’ resignation has paved the way for Conservative leaders to put their names in the running, but they aren’t the only ones who have dabbled with the idea of running the country.
Over the last few days, a wave of famous faces have put their names forward, including comedian Ricky Gervais, former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan and Spice Girls star Emma Bunton.
TOWIE star Gemma Collins seemed to have her eyes firmly fixed on Number 10 Downing Street after throwing her hat into the ring using her GC Manifesto.
While This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield also couldn’t resist getting involved with the action, taking to his Instagram Stories with a shot of him outside Downing Street alongside the caption: “”Ffs.. ok then, surely even I couldn’t make this s*** any worse?!”
