BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty bumped into one of her broadcasting ‘rivals’ outside Downing Street, and it was none other than Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid.
Naga had ditched the comfort of the red sofa on Friday morning (October 21) and appeared outside No 10 to tell viewers all about the latest political dramas of the day.
It comes after Liz Truss announced on Thursday (October 20) she was resigning as PM after just 44 days in office, making her the shortest-serving PM in history.

Naga was feeding updates to her co-host Charlie Stayt, who was anchoring the show from the Breakfast Studio.
But it appears she wasn’t the only famous face to be covering the latest political news outside the PM’s doorstep.
That’s because she ran into her former BBC Breakfast colleague Susanna Reid, who was covering the government chaos for GMB.
Naga took to Instagram on Friday with a sweet snap of her and Susanna smiling together outside Number 10.
Both broadcaster were dressed for the autumnal weather with Susanna looking stylish in a beige coat and Naga stunning in a pink coat.
She joked that the pair were both pals and rivals in the caption, which read: “Always good to catch up with friends/rivals on the job” alongside a wink emoji.
Naga signed off by wishing her 55.2k followers a good day as she said: “Hope your Friday is a good one X”
Susanna seemed to enjoy catching up just as much as she commented a heart emoji in the comments.
Fans of the pair were thrilled by the photo and rushed to comment, with one gushing: “Both brilliant journalists and presenters . And both bl**dy gorgeous”
A second joined their two shows together and quipped: “Wow Its Good Morning Breakfast”
A third was hoping the pair would form their own breakfast programme as they added: “Now that’s a Breakfast Combo I would watch”
