BBC Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent called out actor Iain De Caestecker for putting his foot up on the desk during his interview.
It seemed Scottish actor Ian had been getting just a bit too comfortable on Monday morning (July 11) during his interview about his upcoming BBC One thriller, The Control Room.
The Control Room’s BAFTA-winning writer Nick Leather sat next to the actor, who has starred in the hit Marvel TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.D.

Unfortunately for poor Ian, Sally couldn’t help point out his laid back approach in the studio in front of the nation, noting he was the first guest she’d ever seen to give his foot a rest on the desk.
She told him: “I have to say, Ian, you are without doubt, the first person on this programme that I’ve seen who’s been allowed to put their foot on the desk.”
Ian immediately sat up straight and pulled his foot away from the desk.
He quickly apologised, saying: “I’m sorry, I know! I’m sorry,” before making a reference to his mum who presumably wouldn’t be pleased.
He crossed his arms in disappointment, but Nick, Sally and Nina all burst out laughing.
Nina told him: “It’s nice that you feel at home! We love it.”
Ian joked: “I was going to lie down at one point, it’s too early in the morning,” before Nina quipped: “Shall we get you a little rug?”

Sally and Nina were full of excitement for Ian’s and Nick’s gripping new series, which is based on Nick’s real life dealings with a control room operator.
The three-part series follows an emergency call handler who speaks to a woman who seems to know him.
Nick himself had to call an emergency operator when his youngest daughter wouldn’t wake up, leaving him and his partner terrified before they eventually got her help and she was okay.
The Control Room airs on BBC One and BBCiPlayer July 17 at 9pm.
