BBC Platinum Party at the Palace fans concerned for Geri Halliwell after Queen's message

BBC viewers shared their concerns for Geri Halliwell after she passed on a thank you message to the Queen for her 70 years on the throne ahead of the start Platinum Party at the Palace.

On Saturday (June 4), the biggest names in music joined to put on a stellar performance for the third day of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

But for the few stars who were unable to make it to the historical event, they recorded a heartfelt thank you message to Her Royal Highness to thank you for her years of service.

However, Ginger Spice sparked concern from doting fans as she struggled to pass on her well wishes to the monarch in the two-minute clip.

During the short message, the 49-year-old appeared to struggle to get her words out as she left large pauses in her sentences which had fans theorising that she couldn’t properly see the autocue on set.

Throughout the heartfelt message, she gushed over her commitment to the role over the years.

She said: “Our Queen, kind, loving, strong. Serving out country [and] the Commonwealth, uniting us all together, always putting others before yourself.”
