Saturday Kitchen fans couldn’t hide their delight after comedian Tom Allen made a savage remark towards host Matt Tebutt on the BBC show.
The hilarious moment came when the presenter followed typical routine and began chatting with his guests while preparing food for them all, including regulars Jeremy Lee, Poppy O’Toole, Helen McGinn and Carmen O’Neal.
The British chef asked the comedian about his upcoming tour and if there were any tickets left, saying: “Tom, presumably there are lots of tickets left for the tour?”

The 39-year-old hit back: “How dare you?!,” immediately causing everyone in the room to burst into fits of laughter.
Shocked, the So You Think You’re Funny champion continued: “There are new dates that have been added in 2023 if that’s what you mean. But the majority of the dates have pretty much sold out and you will struggle to get them unless you want to ask me for special seats at the side of the stage. But actually no it sold very well.”
He went on to say: “We extended it into 2024 so I look forward to coming back next New Year to plug those dates as well,” Tom added with mock aggression in his voice.
The TV chef struggled to hide his embarrassment before desperately trying to to change the subject, gesturing towards the stove and asking: “Does anyone want to know what’s going on here?”
“To be honest Matt you have been doing this cooking show a long time and I’m not sure that anyone cares,” Tom responded.
The interaction didn’t go unnoticed by fans who took to social media with their thoughts on the episode, with many calling it the funniest Saturday Kitchen of the year.
