Strictly Come Dancing fans were overjoyed to see former professional dancer Oti Mabuse make a return to the famous BBC One programme for the quarter finals of the glamorous show.
After Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcomed viewers to the musical special on Friday night (December 2), the camera panned around to the audience.
Panning around to show off the live studio audience, fans were very happy to see one familiar face.

Oti Mabuse – who departed the show as a pro dancer at the start of the year – was sat in the audience after choreographing the professional dancers’ opening dance.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to discuss Oti’s shock return, with one writing: “So good to see Oti in the audience tonight, not to mention choreographing that opening routine.”
Another added: “We miss you Oti!!”
“BRING BACK OTI FULL TIME,” urged a third, while a fourth penned: “Oti Mabuse in Elstree and I am suddenly at my upmost peaceful state.”
Oti choreographed the elaborate dance routine to a slew of tracks from different beloved musicals, that took place on the dance floor when the show started at 8pm.
Her return to the show comes months after her official departure.
At the start of 2022, the much-loved professional dancer announced that she was stepping down from her role on the BBC programme.
Taking to social media to confirm her departure at the time, Oti penned: “I will always remember that Strictly and BBC brought me to the UK – which I now call home and I have learnt and grown so much.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t put in to words how difficult this decision has been, but I have decided not to return for the next series.
“I will always Keeeep Dancing! and I will never forget my amazing Strictly experience.”
