BBC The One Show host tells guest to 'report weird man to police' after shock admission

The One Show’s Jermaine Jenas warned celebrity guest Sara Pascoe “to report” a weird man on Instagram to the police after she’d made a shocking admission.

The 41-year-old comedian, had been explaining to host’s Jermaine Jenas and Alex Jones that life in the showbiz world wasn’t all it had cracked up to be.

Sara had longed to work in television for as long as she could remember but wasn’t quite ready for some of the “weird” and wonderful thins that come hand-in-hand with fame.

Speaking to BBC hosts and Cold Feet star James Nesbitt, she said: “I really, really wanted to be on TV.

“From like a teenager. And now there’s stuff that happens in my life that’s so weird.”

Turning to James Nesbitt, Sara commented: “Its weird isn’t it?” which was met with an agreeing nod from the actor.

Presenters Alex and Jermaine were in absolute disbelief at Sara’s revelation, with the comedian then exclaiming live on air: “I mean what am I supposed to do with that? It’s just a weird thing.”

Football pundit Jermaine, firstly clasped his head with his hands before responding: “What are you supposed to do with that… erm probably report him.

“I don’t know. It sounds strange to me.”

Hitting back, Sarah hilariously screeched: “The police are busy,” which was met with a quip from Jermaine, who added: “Yeah James Nesbitt’s not free.”

Sara appeared on the programme to promote her new hilarious tour which kicks off at the end of June in London.

While Sara did leave everyone on the show quite shellshocked, the hilarious star wasn’t giving away too much about her up and coming gig when quizzed over what could be expected.

The One Show airs on BBC One at 7pm on weekdays
