Bernard Cribbins was last pictured on the set of Doctor Who, after revealing he’d be returning to the show alongside Catherine Tate and David Tennant for the 60th anniversary of the popular sci-fi BBC show.
Doctor Who star and Wombles narrator Bernard passed away at the age of 93, his agent confirmed.
The TV treasure was pictured on the Camden set, being wheeled out of a coffee shop by David Tennant.
The coffee shop appeared to have been hit by an attack from the sky before going up in flames.

Bernard appeared in the revamped series of Doctor Who with David Tennant from 2007 to 2010.
Before then, Bernard had made fame thanks to his appearances in Coronation Street as ageing Romeo Wally Bannister, the 1967 version of Casino Royale and several Carry On films.
Arguably, his most famous role was that of station porter Albert Perks in the 1970 film adaptation of The Railway Children.
Bernard also had a successful music career, with 1962 comedy songs Hole In The Ground and Right Said Fred reaching the UK singles chart top 10.
A statement from Gavin Barker Associates said: “Beloved actor Bernard Cribbins OBE has passed away at the age of 93.
“He worked well into his 90s, recently appearing in Doctor Who and the CBeebies series Old Jack’s Boat, they continued.
“Bernard’s contribution to British entertainment is without question. He was unique, typifying the best of his generation, and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him,” they concluded.
