Britain’s Got Talent star Lagi Demetriou has become a father for the first time with his fiancée Annika Crawford.
The star is best known from his appearance on the ITV talent show in 2009 as one half of Stavros Flatley alongside his dad Demi, when they put a Greek spin on a Lord of the Dance inspired routine.
Lagi, now 25, was just a child when he appeared on the series and has now well and truly grown up after welcoming his little girl.
He shared a sweet post to Instagram showing him holding hands with his newborn daughter, and introduced her to his followers.
The caption read: “To another new chapter with my beautiful wife to be. I love you @neekz.”
Annika previously shared a photo of her bump and wrote in the caption: “Our next chapter – Baby Demetrious.”
Lagi and Annika live in Cyprus together, and they have called their little girl Xenia.
Fans were quick to congratulate the former child start, as well as some other Britain’s Got Talent icons.
Twist and Pulse, who won The Champions series in 2019, said: “The biggest congratulations to you all.”
Contestant Molly Rainford said: “Congrats to you both.”
Lagi had been just 12 when he performed the unforgettable routine with his dad Demi, wearing leather trousers and comical blonde wigs.
Their audition has gone down in show history but it wasn’t enough to win them the prize, as they were beaten to the top spot by dance troupe Diversity.
However they returned 10 years later for the all-stars Champions series and made it all the way to the finale again, this time coming out in second place.
Since then, Lagi has stepped away from the stage and moved to Cyprus where he has opened a barber shop.
But his dad is carrying on the family act though has replaced Lagi with his nephew Samson, 19.
Lagi has said that he hasn’t given up his dancing shoes for good though.
Back in 2019 he told MailOnline: “When we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave. But Simon Cowell told me not to quit forever. So I will return for some shows.
“We’ve done this for 10 years for a joke. We’ve done so many amazing things but what is there left to do? We’ve done the Royal Variety, we’ve played in China, Monaco – everywhere.
“So when we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave.”
