Britain’s Got Talent viewers have all moaned about the same thing as they become sick of acts using tracks from The Greatest Showman in their performances.
On Thursday’s show (June 2), fans stormed to Twitter to share their thoughts on Five Stay Boys’ performance, and while most agreed the lads were talented, they begged acts to stop using the same old tracks.
The young lads who had all come together after being victims of bullying put on a stellar performance on the night and impressed all four judges.
Viewers at home were also pleased with their dance moves, but their song choice, they hated.
One fan wrote: “The greatest showman again…bleeding hell. Can someone please pick a different musical? #BritainsGotTalent.”
A second added: “Great dance but why the f*** are the greatest showman songs still a thing in 2022? #BritainsGotTalent #BGT.”
While a third penned: “That “This is me” is the most over used song of all time on tv. Come up with something else man #BritainsGotTalent #BGT”
“Yeah this is you, I get it. Bit sick of that song #bgt #BritainsGotTalent,” shared a fourth.
A fifth put: “#BritainsGottalent The Greatest Showman music again.”
“Hey, it’s a song from that famous film Amanda’s golden buzzer act sang in #BGT #BritainsGotTalent” quipped a sixth.
Others chimed in with their compliments to the boys, and said: “Willing Five Star Boys to win ..not just because they are really talented .. but to show those horrible bullies you can be and do whatever you damn well like”
“Five Star Boys are really good. It looked like they were really enjoying themselves on stage,” wrote another.
Another praised: “Such beautiful young dancers. Their future is bright”
Britain’s Got Talent is currently gearing up for the grand finale which will air this weekend on Sunday 5th June.
The ITV talent series has been going since 2007 and is now taking applications for next year’s show.
