Britney Spears has made a heartbreaking confession about her state of mind after being frozen out by her children.
The Toxic singer, 40, is no longer in regular contact with her teenage sons Jayden 16, and Preston, also 16.
Speaking earlier this month, the boys’ father Kevin Federline, 44, revealed they had chosen to cut Britney out of their life after becoming uncomfortable in her presence.

Jayden also cited the Crossroads star’s “attention-seeking” nude social media posts as a factor in his desire to not see her.
Having previously slammed Jayden for speaking out, Britney cut a more remorseful figure in a new Instagram clip.
In a series of posts, the Crazy hitmaker said a “huge part of me has died” and her “heart stopped beating” after communication with her offspring broke down.
Britney said: “I used to have my kids at one point, way more than Kevin, but people don’t remember that part because they always focus on the negative.
“From when they were six to nine years old I had them 70 per cent of the time and of course since they’ve been gone, I’ve felt like a huge part of me has died.
“Like literally, I have no purpose any more – they were my joy, they were my everything. That was what I lived for.
“Then all of a sudden, they were gone, and it’s like my heart just stopped beating.”
In another clip, Britney revealed that she “didn’t understand” how it was “so easy” for her sons to cut her out of their lives.
The emotional posts follow Jayden confirming he would be willing to sit down and talk with Britney after revealing he “really wants to see her again”.
Addressing his mother directly, the youngster told ITV News: “I love you a lot and I hope for the best for you.
“Maybe one day we can sit down . . . and talk again and have a normal conversation.”
