Carol Vorderman looked almost unrecognisable as she showed off an eye-colour transformation on social media – but fans were still loving what they saw.
The TV personality and former Countdown star terrified fans as she posed with bright blue eyes on her Instagram story, with the star joking that she looked “evil” as she played around with filters on the social media platform.
She joked: “Mucking around with filters… blue eyes look evil.”

In a separate video, Carol also wowed fans as she posed in a grey top that flowed over her beautiful curves, with her long blonde locks flowing past her shoulders.
Looking as radiant as ever, the star complimented her stunning look with dark pink lip gloss, lashings of mascara and smoky eyes for a glamorous finish.
Fans went wild for Carol’s gorgeous look, with one hailing her as “the most gorgeous woman”, while a second added: “Looking as beautiful as ever.”
“Gorgeous, sexy lady,” added a third, while a fourth commented: “Just stunning wow.”
Other fans posted strings of love and heart eye emojis.
During the video, the TV personality also revealed she was filming a “secret new TV project”.
Although she did not hint at what the project could be, Carol teased that the production will air by the New Year.
“Filming today on one of my favourite shows. It doesn’t go out for a while,” she said.
“I think around New Year time. So you’ll have to wait. But happy happy happy days.”
Carol added: “And happy Friday to you.”
The series of videos follow a throwback to Carol’s days on Countdown earlier this week to celebrate 40 years of the iconic Channel 4 programme.
The presenter, 61, took to Instagram on Wednesday (November 2) and shared a video as she wished Countdown a happy birthday.
Standing against a white wall, the star sang: “Happy birthday to me!” before returning to her regular voice and saying: “40 years on the television, who would have thought it?”
The TV personality added: “My first appearance was on Countdown doing the numbers. Countdown was the first show on Channel 4 on November 2 1982.
“So Happy birthday Channel 4 and course happy birthday Countdown too, all of us 40 years old today!”
