Casualty fans are gushing over Dylan and Paula’s sweet bond as Last Leg comedian Rosie Jones returns to the much-loved medical drama.
Comedian and actress Rosie Jones plays Paula Kettering in the popular BBC medical soap opera, and on Saturday (April 2) she returned to her role.
Rosie joined the cast of Casualty last year in February 2021, and has since been a huge hit with viewers.
On Saturday when she returned to her role, fans of the programme were quick to swoon over Paula’s sweet relationship with consultant Dylan Keogh.
Taking to Twitter to discuss this week’s episode, fans of Casualty were quick to gush over the pair’s sweet bond that was clearly depicted throughout.
“The dynamic between Dylan and Paula is SO good! #casualty,” penned one viewer.
Another added: “Dylan is so nice to Paula #Casualty.”
“I love this side of him #Casualty,” said someone else who also posted a short clip of the consultant.
A fourth added: “We love Dylan #Casualty.”
In tonight’s episode of Casualty Dylan found Paula lashing out to a pharmacist before consoling her and then sorting out her prescription for her.
While Dylan left for a short while, Paula bumped into Ellen, a woman who she used to drink with.
Ellen had a nasty burn that needed treatment so Paula helped her pal get help and decided to stash her bottle of vodka away so she didn’t get into trouble.
Dylan saw what happened and spied the vodka and assumed the worst before asking Paula to leave.
Rosie, who plays Paula recently spoke to Metro.co.uk where she said: “Paula’s not perfect. She has flaws, she’s stubborn, the story is showing that disabled people can be three… well they are always three-dimensional.
“And I feel like playing Paula meant showing there are millions of disabled people who, like her disability, they are underestimated and treated awfully by the services and the system and the government.”
Casualty airs every Saturday at 8:35pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
