Cat Deeley shares unusual plans to make gold bracelet from both sons' teeth

Mother-of-two Cat Deeley has come up with an unusual plan to remember her two boys as youngsters.

The TV host, who shares two young boys with her husband Patrick Kielty, has told her fans that she will be wearing their baby teeth around their wrist as she hopes to turn it into jewellery.

The 45-year-old revealed her unusual plans on The Sheerluxe Show podcast as she confessed she’s even going to go as far as to dip the teeth in liquid gold before wearing them.

She revealed the idea came to her when her son lost his first tooth and the tooth fairy arrived – leaving her stumped after she had exchanged it for cash.

Speaking on the podcast, she said the first tooth fairy visit had her wondering what to do with the baby tooth.

But a lightbulb soon went off in her head as she decided to ask London-based artist Connor Joseph to design a personalised bangle for her.

She said: “I’m going to get him to dip the teeth in gold and attach them one by one to my bracelet. They will dangle and it’ll look nuts.”

Her decision is certainly different, but it seems the star is completely sold on her new and inventive idea to turn the baby teeth into lavish jewellery.

Cat welcomed her two children, Milo and James, after marrying her husband Patrick in 2012.

The TV presenter previously lived in the US and was based in Los Angeles, but she moved back to the UK in 2020 and revealed it took three years for the family of four to make the transition.

Cat previously told You magazine that she decided to return to the UK when her husband and eldest son Milo were at the mall in LA when FBI agents ordered shoppers to take cover because there was a shooter.

She said: “They shut down the centre. I got a call from Paddy, saying, ‘They’re taking us out through the fire exits but nobody can get to their car. If we walk to a junction, can you come and get us?'”

She explained that it was “terrifying” and added that the “fear” was part of the reason they decided to make the move back to the UK.

The family have now been happy living together back on UK soil since their return.
