Kat Slater appears to have a mega-famous fan as Spice Girls star Melanie C was seen donning a top paying tribute to the EastEnders character on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Melanie appears on the programme alongside her brother, Paul O’Neill, with the pair often in fits of laughter as they share their thoughts on the previous week’s telly.
But as fans tuned in, they noticed that Melanie was wearing something completely different to usual and rather than slipping into her own merchandise, she’d rather support BBC’s EastEnders.

Fans instantly flocked to social media to share their thoughts, with one tweeting: “Mel C with the Kat Slater top on #Gogglebox is who I want to be when I grow up.”
“I want Mel C’s top haha #CelebrityGogglebox,” typed a second.
Before a third commented: “OMG. Just noticed Mel C’s top! ‘What would Kat Slater do.’ Brilliant #CelebrityGogglebox.”
During the episode, Melanie was stunned when she found out that the Spice Girls had been a topic on BBC One’s One Question.
Two fans from Liverpool who appeared on the game show hosted by Claudia Winkleman where they were faced with an all-important question about the year 2000.
The two ambulance handlers were asked whether James Cameron’s box office hit Titanic was released in 2000 but Melanie said: “Titanic was Number One on the Box Office when Spiceworld was Number Two,” before Paul confirmed that was in 1998.
They were also faced with a possible answer of the Disneyworld Paris opening, but they explained this was not correct as they had gone to Paris to see the Spice Girls and to attend the opening of the theme park.

But they were left red-faced when they were asked what is the name of the Spice Girls’ last Number One record.
The two girls answered: “Wannabe,” which was released in 1996, becoming their first hit single and catapulting them to becoming the biggest girl group of all time.
But, the correct answer was in fact, Holler, which was released in 2000 following the departure of Geri Horner.
Following the news that the Spice Girls was the correct answer, a happy Mel exclaimed: “IT was the right answer, the Spice Girls was the right answer.”
“It’s always the right answer in my eyes,” added her brother, Paul, before Melanie continued: “Always the right answer.”
Celebrity Gogglebox airs Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
