Charlotte Dawson slams vile online trolls who say she 'faked pregnancy for attention'

Charlotte Dawson has hit back at vile trolls online who have claimed the reality star faked her pregnancy in a bid for attention.

The 29-year-old tragically revealed she had suffered a miscarriage earlier this week after she learnt she was pregnant on Mother’s Day.

She confirmed the devastating news on Instagram after previously stating she was taking a break from social media after discovering “some awful news.”

Charlotte – who shares her son Noah with her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield – shared the news on Easter Monday as she revealed how the pair were initially “over the moon” to be pregnant again.

During her lengthy post, she pleaded with online trolls to stop abusing her with cruel messages about her parenting skills.

Now, the mum-of-one has returned to Instagram to slam those continuing to bombard her with cruel comments after she confirmed her miscarriage.

Uploading a lengthy video to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (April 19) night, she told her 1.3million followers: “I’ve had the weekend spending time with my family having the best Easter.

“It’s just nice to be off Instagram and like just like in the normal world just having quality family time.”

She went on: “I’m still not feeling 100%. I’m just absolutely drained, so tired and you know, still in agony a little bit. It’s starting to wear off now thank God, but yeah.

“I just don’t appreciate obviously some of the disgusting, horrific messages that me and Matthew are receiving.

“I can’t believe that I have to defend myself like this. I’ve been in tears crying over the s**t that people say and this has just topped the whole thing.”

Charlotte went on to explain how trolls have claimed she was lying about being pregnant and decided to shut down the consistent comments by showing a positive pregnancy test.

The star went on to say: “So that’s one of my tests there that I was going to keep obviously forever.

“I can’t believe I have to actually prove that I was pregnant. It’s so f***ing weird. What the hell is wrong with people?”

The reality star hit back online users who think they can get away with posting vile comments and said it’s not fair that people are saying she’s suffering for attention.

Charlotte said she’d been brave enough to share her story online as she shared a screenshot of the disgusting comment by a profile without a profile picture.

She concluded: “To the people who are messaging Michael constantly, screen-shotting my video saying she wasn’t even pregnant and was doing it for attention, there you f***ing go!”
