Chrissy Teigen announces pregnancy with John Legend after miscarriage heartbreak

Chrissy Tegien has announced she’s pregnant two years after her miscarriage heartbreak.

Taking to Instagram, Chrissy shared a photo of her blossoming bump to her fans.

Captioning the gorgeous pic, she penned: “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.

“1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.”

The star also mentioned that she had a sigh of relief when she heard her baby’s heartbeat.

“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.

“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”

Seeing her post on their screens, fans rushed to share in on the lovely news.

One person penned: “Congratulations, Chrissy! So happy for you and John!”

Another said: “CHRISSY MY EYES ARE IMMEDIATELY FULL OF TEARS I AM SO SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND THE FAMILY CONGRATULATIONS LOVE YOU.”

Meanwhile a third chimed: “This brings me so much joy I swear!!”

Chrissy and John’s joyous baby news comes two years after they lost their son.

Ordinary People singer John previously spoke openly about the family heartbreak.

He said: “We were tested. It was a tragedy. But I think it strengthened our resolve and our resilience because we were there for each other.

“We came out even more sure of who we were as a couple and as a family.”

Shortly after their tragic loss, Chrissy shared a series of photos to Instagram explaining the ordeal to her followers.

John also explained his wife’s reasons, saying: “It was raw, sharing our experience.”

He continued: “I was worried but our instinct was to do it because people knew we were pregnant and Chrissy felt like she needed to tell the story completely about what happened.”

He also shared his thoughts on the positive messages he received aftger their ordeal: “I was amazed by the outpouring of love and support we felt. “Also, we found out how many other families have gone through this.

“It was a powerful and brave thing that Chrissy did to share that because it made so many people feel like they were seen and that they weren’t alone.”

As well as their baby on the way, Chrissy and John share two children, Luna and Miles.
