Christina Applegate, known for her Hollywood acting roles in Anchorman and Friends, was seen out and about for the first time with her cane since she “gained 40 pounds” due to multiple sclerosis.
The 50-year-old was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and made a special appearance for the occasion.
She wore black trousers, a matching blazer and wore her signature blonde locks in loose waves over her shoulders.

Her nail art read “FU MS”, assumed to stand for “f*** you multiple sclerosis”, and decided to walk barefoot to her star, assisted by a bedazzled walking cane.
Christina was all smiles for the pictures as she was supported by her friend and Dead To Me co-star Linda Cardellini.
However, she later teared up as she addressed the audience and spoke about her struggle with the autoimmune disease she suffers with, which affects the brain and nerves in the body.
Through glassy eyes, Applegate said: “This day means more to me than you could possibly imagine. I don’t say I have friends, I have family. These people take care of me every day of my life, and without them I don’t know what I would do.”
The actress was surrounded by her loved ones as she visited the Hollywood star, including her Married With Children co-star Katey Sagal and daughter Sadie Grace, who she had a sweet message for.
Applegate told Sadie that she was “the most important person in the world” as she addressed her in front of the crowd.
The Friends actress lovingly gushed: “You are so much more than you even know. You are so beautiful and kind and loving and smart and interesting, and I am blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school.”
Since her shock MS diagnosis in August 2021, Christina has revealed that she “can no longer walk without a cane” and has gained weight – which she is “very aware” of.
The actress recently opened up about her experience with multiple sclerosis and heartbreakingly claimed she is “never going to accept” the disease and “is p***ed”.
