Love-struck Coleen Nolan has finally gone public with her mystery man Michael Jones.
The Loose Women star, 56, has kept her romance a secret for the past seven months but has now officially let the cat out of the bag in a tell-all-interview with OK! magazine.
Coleen’s marriage to her second husband Ray Fensome broke down in 2018 and the TV personality vowed at the time she would spend her life single – that is until Michael came along.
Last year, Coleen decided on a whim that she’d join the dating app Tinder in hope of finding her ideal match when swiping right.
Luckily for her, Michael, 57, had also signed up to find love after his own marriage had broken down in his thirties.
The former chart topping singer praised Michael for bringing “calm and peace” to her life as she explained “nothing fazes” her new man.
However for Michael – who works for a supermarket chain – it wasn’t a straight forward swipe as he confessed he’d “had to think it” because he’d recognised her from the TV and being part of the Nolans.
After going with his gut and much to Michael’s delight, he learned that Coleen had already swiped right to register that she had been interested.
The starry-eyed lovers kept their first date low-key and headed off to a pub – Coleen expected to be home within an hour but was surprised that she’d had an instant spark with Michael.
They chatted for hours until they were eventually ushered out of the pub at 11pm.
Everything was going smooth for the new pair until Michael decided to drop the L-bomb early.
Coleen admitted that she’d had a little “wobble” with her emotions at this point and “couldn’t see him”.
Although the TV star had been “freaked out” by his declaration, Michael was persistent and didn’t give up and eventually she gave in.
Michael and Coleen have even overcome family issues and they attempted to join forces as a blended family.
Initially, the hitmaker’s daughter Ciara had her own issues with their relationship – Coleen believed she’d been a bit “jealous” because it had been her first romance since she’d parted from her daughter’s father Ray.
However, they’re all on good terms now with Coleen spending extra time with Ciara and Michael doing the same with his own son.
When chatting about taking their relationship to the next level, the loved-up pair confessed that they had discussed walking down the aisle.
Coleen explained to the publication that she and Michael speak about marriage “all the time”.
She explained: “He’ll go, ‘It’s just inevitable really, isn’t it?’ And I’ll say, ‘Yeah!'”
