Coronation Street star Alex Bain looked completely unrecognisable from his cobbles character Simon Barlow in a new set of snaps.
The star is currently enjoying a jaunt to Spain with his girlfriend Mollie Lockwood, and the pair posed with their heads close together for an intimate snap.
Alex showed off his recent facial hair transformation in the snaps, which displayed him with five o’clock shadow at his chin and a moustache decorating his upper lip as he beamed at the camera.

Mollie was grinning at his side in what looks to be a relaxed bar setting, with Alex rocking a shirt and Mollie’s blonde hair falling loose around her shoulders.

Alex captioned the sweet snap: “We do be looking cute still even at the end of the night!”
The pair later headed to the beach for a cosy photoset which showed Alex hoisting Mollie into his arms with the setting sun as a backdrop, placing a sweet kiss on her lips in the fading light.
He could be seen wearing an open linen shirt and beige shorts as he stood barefoot in the water with Mollie wrapped around him, sporting a blue-and-white two-piece crop top and shorts.
Mollie wrote alongside the snaps: “Our first night in Spain. Someone told us beach pictures look cool!”

Fans and co-stars quickly rushed to comment on the adorable pictures, with Jacob Hay star Jack James Ryan writing: “You guys!”
Another fan gushed: “Sooo cute!”
“Aww, gorgeous couple and gorgeous photos, you love birds have the best vacation in Spain! Sending lots of love,” a third commented.
As someone else said: “The best couple in the world!”
However, it wasn’t the easiest journey for the couple to reach the continent, as their Ryanair flight was initially delayed at the airport.

They did, however, eventually land in Reus after a couple of setbacks – as Alex fractured his ankle just a day before his previous holiday.
Sporting a medical boot, Alex attended the fracture clinic for his poorly ankle, telling fans at the time: “Update on the ankle. I’m at the fracture clinic having a check-up and X-Ray to see how it’s doing. I’ll keep you all updated!”
He then told his followers: “Quick update again! I have to go back in four weeks time to have it checked again, however they’re pleased with the progress so all is well with me!
“Should be healed soon enough guys! Thanks for all your love and support!”
