Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has been a show staple since 2003 and it seems acting runs in his blood.
The actor, 47, portrays Sean Tully on the ITV soap.
His mother Enid Dunn has also made several Weatherfield appearances and in fact, made her Corrie debut before her son did.

The Bury-based actress first appeared on the cobbles as Dennis Stringer’s aunt Joan Lawson in January 2002 at the character’s funeral.
She returned to the cobbles in 2006 as a character credited as Old Crone.
Enid later played a special role in 2010 TV movie The Road to Coronation Street.
The actress portrayed Granada Television tea lady Agnes, who famously informed the soap’s creator Tony Warren that his planned title Florizel Street sounded like a disinfectant – leading him to change it.
In spite of her various soap roles, Enid’s Corrie journey was far from over.
In 2011, she played a woman bumped into by the murderous John Stape (Graeme Hawley).
Enid made her final Coronation Street appearance to date as bingo player Maureen Rothwell in 2014.
She has also appeared in episodes of Cutting It, No Offence, Shameless and Bancroft – and previously appeared as barmaid Joyce in Peter Kay’s hit comedy Phoenix Nights.
Her recent TV roles have included small parts in The Bay and Compulsion.
While his mother may have retired her Coronation Street roles, Antony recently renewed his contract with the ITV soap.
This year has seen the character tested by a short-lived relationship with Frank Bardsley (Simon O’Brien) and his son Dylan Wilson’s return to the cobbles.
Following its axe on Friday due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Coronation Street will make a return to screens this evening (September 12).
Coronation Street airs at 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
