Summer Spellman received a huge surprise this week in Coronation Street after finding out that she pregnant.
She and Aaron Sanford have embarked on a romance in recent months, with Summer revealing the news to him in scenes airing on Wednesday night (October 19).
Soap fans have since taken to social media to discuss what the future could hold to Summer, as she receives an unexpected offer from a fellow resident in Coronation Street tonight.

Weatherfield exit
Coronation Street fans recently saw Aaron and Summer split up in the soap.
Viewers vented their frustrations at the couple parting ways, with one saying on Twitter: “If Aaron and Summer break up one more time, I’m not going to watch it anymore.”
A second added: “If Summer and Aaron break up again, I’m gonna give up watching,” while a third commented: “Aaron and Summer split up? Again?”
However, following the recent pregnancy news, the couple declared their love for one another and decided to get back together.
Fans now think that the couple should move away from Weatherfield and start a new life together, with one saying: “Let Summer and Aaron live happily ever after…away from Corrie.”
“Awww Summer and Aaron,” said a second.
“As she’s pregnant, maybe she and Aaron will leave together for a new life somewhere?” asked a third, while a fourth added: “Love Summer, hope it works out for them.”
Not all fans feel the same way though, with another saying: “I like Summer and Aaron, just not together.”
“Run Aaron. Run for the hills,” added one fan.
Baby daddy twist
While viewers know that Summer has been in a relationship with Aaron after they met at a diabetic support group, some fans have a feeling that another resident could be the father of her baby.
Fans will remember that Aadi harboured feelings for Summer before embarking on a relationship with Kelly, and some viewers suspect that he could be the baby’s father instead of Aaron.
“Dev’s son is the father,” said one fan.
A second added: “Aadi is lurking. I hope he doesn’t try to get with Summer again.”
However, other fans think that Aadi should stay away from Summer, with a third adding: “Aadi needs to find himself a nice girl now. No more girls like Kelly or Summer. They are too much drama! He deserves better!”
Adoption dilemma
The pregnancy news has come as a shock to both Summer and the people around her.
Coronation Spoilers have since revealed that Summer is about to receive an unexpected offer from a fellow resident, and fans already think they know what it could be.
Viewers have speculated that Summer could give the baby up for adoption, with one saying: “That woman from the charity shop wants to adopt her baby.”
A second agreed, saying: “Summer will be propositioned by the woman she was collecting clothes for.”
However, would Summer give her baby up for adoption?
Fans are not so sure, with another suggesting that the upcoming offer might not be to do with the baby at all.
They said: “Let’s hope Summer’s offer is to work abroad long term.”
Others think that Summer will choose to keep the baby, despite interference from other residents, with a fourth adding: “Like Summer said to Paul, keep out of my business, she’s damn right.”
