Brassy Debs Brownlow is heading back to Corrie.

An insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “Gabrielle was approached by Corrie execs earlier this year.
“After a series of top-secret meetings, she signed on the dotted line.
“Everyone is now really excited about Debs returning to Weatherfield. It’s going to be a brilliant blast from the past for fans.”
During her stint in Weatherfield in 2000, ruthless Debs nicked a man from her sister Natalie, who was played by Denise Welch.
And her return to the soap is set to be just as juicy.
Show chiefs are set to reveal details about her return this week.
Our insider added: “The writers are planning some great storylines for Debs. There’s going to be plenty of drama.”
TV favourite Gabrielle has already started filming scenes for her comeback at Corrie’s set in Salford.
Her return is expected to air this autumn.
Gabrielle has starred on a string of soaps over the past three decades with roles in Brookside, Family Affairs, Doctors and Emmerdale.
The star has also appeared in hit shows Blackadder, Sherlock, Unforgotten and New Tricks.
Gabrielle’s casting as Debs attracted media attention at the time as the actress was already well known for her roles as Patricia Farnham in rival soap Brookside between 1990 and 1997.
She said when she first joined the show : “I am a huge fan of Coronation Street and I am thrilled to be working alongside Denise [Welch].
“I’m just hoping it won’t spoil my enjoyment as a viewer as I will know what is going to happen.”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 8pm
