Coronation Street’s Millie Gibson has shared a morning after pic of her looking sleepy following her win at the British Soap Awards.
The actress – who plays Kelly Neelan on the ITV soap – scooped the coveted award for Best Young Performer at the star-studded ceremony.
She looked dazzling on the red carpet, exuding old school Hollywood glamour in a cream silk dress with bright red lips and her blonde hair in loose curls cascading down her back.
But the 17-year-old looked a little less polished the next day.
The snap shared on Instagram showed her wearing a blue and white checked mini dress and a comfy cardigan as she waited at a train station with her co-star Paddy Bever.
Millie’s hair was still slightly curly but the glam make-up was gone and she looked pretty tired.
Paddy, who plays Max Turner on the cobbles, was casual in tracksuit bottoms and a coat, with his eyes covered by dark shades.
“@paddybever think we enjoyed ourselves last night?” the shot was captioned.
Millie also shared a string of snaps showing her at the awards do.
She told fans: “A blur, but a pleasure, feeling incredibly honoured. Thank you :).”
Her followers flocked to the comments section to congratulate her on scooping the gong.
“So well deserved,” one person posted.
“You look AMAZING!!!” said another. “Congrats Millie so proud.”
“Well done Millie!” someone else said.
“You deserved that award so so much. That’s such an amazing achievement and you should be so proud of yourself!”
Another called the star an “incredible young lady”, and one fan even said: “The most talented actor I’ve seen in a soap for a very long time.”
Millie had been up against Sonny Kendall from EastEnders, Emmerdale’s Amelia Flanagan and Jayden Fox from Hollyoaks for the Best Young Performer trophy.
