Dancing On Ice’s female stars are worried about flashing too much on TV when they are lifted up and flung around on the rink.
Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt asked for less skimpy outfits.
She said: “The first thing I said about the costumes was – ‘Can we just make sure the crotch is like an inch wider?’
Lorraine TV presenter Ria Hebden added: “Flashing my knicks to the country… I am not gonna think about it too much.”
And Corrie’s Sally Dynevor revealed: “I’ve never worn fishnets before!”
The women will join Happy Mondays’ star Bez, ex Strictly dancer Brendan Cole and BMX biker Kye White for Sunday’s opener.
They are all battered and bruised from training with Brendan getting cut in the leg and Ria suffering whiplash with just days to go.
Brendan said: “What makes the show quite exciting compared to others is the danger is very real and we have all hurt ourselves at some point.”
Kye – who got a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics last year – has his eyes on the prize.
He said: “It’s a competition. If I get to the final I don’t want to come second again. I’ve had enough of coming second.”
Meanwhile, Kimberly Wyatt also revealed that she had to explain the fingerprint-shaped bruises on her body to her husband after working hard at training.
She told Daily Star and other press: “There’s constant bruises like whether it’s inflicted upon yourself or banging yourself on the ice on your hip or knee or elbow or the fingerprints from your partner lifting you.
“I literally have fingerprints all over my thighs and my sides coming home to explain to my husband that we were just dancing on ice.”
The group are the first six celebrities to perform for the judges including Torvill and Deab, Diversity’s Ashley Banjo and Strictly’s Oti Mabuse.
The others in the contest (Ben Foden, Regan Gascoigne, Liberty Poole, Stef Reid, Rachel Stevens and Connor Ball) will skate next week.
* Dancing On Ice – hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – launches on Sunday on ITV at 6.30pm.
