Daniel Radcliffe’s raunchiest confessions – groupie hook-ups to cougar fetish

He is known for his legendary role as The Boy Who Lived in the epic Harry Potter franchise alongside his co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

Many fans grew up with Daniel Radcliffe throughout his 10-year reign as the child wizard who joined the set at the young age of 11.

However, it wasn’t always as magical as it seemed to work on the Harry Potter set for almost a decade after he confessed the immense amount of pressure he and his co-stars we under during the run of the film series.

After his time on the Hollywood set came to an end, Daniel opened up about his alcohol addiction during filming and the wild antics he got up to on set.

As the star celebrates his 33rd birthday (July 23), the Daily Star has taken a look at his steamiest sex confessions over the years.

Harry Potter groupies

It’s fair to say Daniel became a global sensation over the eight films where he grew a passionate legion of fans all over the world.

During the height of his fame, the actor confessed there were times when he had slept with his loyal fans.

In an interview with The Mirror, the star explained: “I was always very nervous about the groupie thing. I like to like somebody before I sleep with them. You know you’re going to have to talk to them afterward, even if it is a one-night stand.”

When the star was pushed further, he confessed that he has indeed had sex with fans of the films in the past.

He admitted: “I have… I mean, that has happened, but generally speaking, I’ve known the person. Apart from a few times when I was drinking.

“Besides, I like having a girlfriend. I have a crazy life,” he added.

Devoted actor

Over the years, the actor has flourished into the star we know and love today as he went on to take on more demanding adult roles such as his role in Equus and Kill Your Darlings.

And he went on to explain that when it comes to acting, the star is very literal with the script and will follow direction to a T when performing on stage and screen.

In an interview with the Guardian, the actor opened up about his controversial role in Equus when he took to the stage at the age of 17 without a stitch of clothing on him.

Looking back on his time in the theatre production, he admitted: “The first question I was asked on Equus was did I inhale, because if you don’t inhale then you blow out about a ton more smoke than you would if you did.

“To me, the thought that stuff might upset Harry Potter fans didn’t really come into it, because the reason I act is first and foremost for myself because I enjoy it, and second to serve the script.

“So if the script says smoke, I smoke. If the script says have sex, I have sex. So that’s just what you do as an actor.”

Getting ‘better at sex’

For many, losing your virginity can be an awkward rite of passage in a person’s life with some people recalling the life-changing moment with a veil of embarrassment around it.

However, Daniel appears to be one of the few who can boast about his first time being intimate with someone, as he recalled being quite the wizard between the sheets as well as on the silver screen.

Speaking to Daily Star back in 2014, the actor confessed his wild night of passion at the age of 16 was a wonderful experience between him and his partner and looks back on the event with fondness.

He explained: “I’m one of the few people who seem to have had a really good first time. It was with somebody I’d gotten to know well. I’m happy to say I’ve had a lot better sex since then.

“But it wasn’t as horrendously embarrassing as a lot of other peoples were, like my friend who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge.

“For some people sex might be better drunk. But for me and the person I’m doing it with, it’s much better sober.”

Prefers older women

But something that many fans were uncomfortable with was the fact that the actor lost his virginity at the age of 16 to a much older woman.

And it appears as though an older companion may be a particular quality he looks for in a partner after he confessed many of his previous partners have also been significantly older than him.

During an interview with Andy Cohen the Harry Potter star explained how he also looks for intelligence in his partner.

He told the TV host: “Yes, I am dating someone and my type is… the type I keep private. My type is intelligent.”

The actor went on to add that the age difference “wasn’t ridiculous” although it “would freak some people out”.

Andy was eager to find out if his current partner – who he continues to keep out of the limelight – is older than him as well.

Clearly uncomfortable with the topic, he mumbled: “Umm… It would be hard for me to deny [it]. I have a track record with that.”
