Danniella Westbrook distraught after being hospitalised and cut off from bank account

Danniella Westbrook has been left traumatised after being admitted to hospital and left unable to access her bank account.

The former Eastender star, 48, told on Twitter from hospital her day had been “screwed up” after her bank closed her account.

The actress explained: “At 7am I get a text saying my accounts being closed yet no one can tell me why?

“I suffer mental health anxiety & I’m currently in hospital. I have bad credit & no other bank will give me an account & you won’t tell me why it’s being closed”.

Fans rushed to the comment section to send Danniella support.

She tweeted: “Thanks for all the messages of support for my operation. It was a huge success and I’m so happy thank you to @LivHospitals and the best staff surgical team and cleanest hospital ever x #NHS #Liverpool.”

The Sam Mitchell star was last in hospital in November, after suffering a sinus infection.

The reason for her latest admission to hospital has not been revealed, however, she told one fan recently on Instagram that she was expecting to have another operation for her sinus infection in the New Year.

Danniella last appeared in EastEnders since 2016, attending the funeral of her on-screen mum Peggy Mitchell, played by Babara Windsor.

Daniella shared a snap of her with her lookalike 20-year-old daughter Jodie

She has dismissed rumours she may be making a comeback in the role, saying if she did return as Sam, it wouldn’t be her playing the role.

Daniella wrote on Instagram: “EastEnders have not contacted me to say they are recasting or if they have, but that’s ok.

“Whoever plays Sam next, I wish all the luck in the world to them. Enjoy.”

Daniella also yesterday shared a snap of her with her lookalike 20-year-old daughter Jodie.

The star who rarely shares snaps of her daughter captioned the post: “Today and everyday I feel gratitude for my bb bell Jodie for forgiving me and letting her back in my life. She makes my whole heart.”
