Danniella Westbrook’s daughter Jodie Jenkins has opened up in her first-ever exclusive interview about just how similar she and her famous mum are.
The stunning blonde social media executive chatted to the Daily Star about how she always gets stopped in the street by fans pointing out the uncanny resemblance.
Jodie, 20, admitted she never used to notice the similarities until she got a fringe cut like how her former EastEnders star mum used to have back in her TV days.
The blonde beauty said: “Do you know what I never used to see it but people everywhere, in pubs, in the gym, always go ‘wow, you really look like someone, oh you look like Danniella Westbrook’, and I’m like ‘yeah, I’m kind of related.’
“And then my nan always says ‘God, you really look like your mum when you say that. I never saw it until I got my fringe cut, and then I was like ‘omg, I really do look like my mum.'”
When asked if there were any other likenesses with her Celebrity Big Brother star parent, she said there most definitely was.
Danniella shares Jodie and her older brother Kai with her ex-husband Kevin Jenkins.
She added: “I think we can both be very dramatic sometimes, I definitely get that from her. My dad is very chilled and goes with the flow whereas mum can be a little dramatic. So, I definitely get that from her.
“Once again, people go ‘ah, you’re dramatic like your mum.'”
“There’s not much else really as I haven’t really been around her a whole lot to be able to say it to be honest. Because whenever we are together, we are only together for a bit, it’s not like we are living with each other to see how we are similar.
“The only thing I can say is that we are both dramatic at times. It must run in the Westbrook genes, to be honest.”
Jodie currently works three jobs but would love to set her sights on the acting world and would not rule out stepping into Albert Square one day.
Talking about whether she would be up for an EastEnders role, she said: “It wouldn’t stop me now but there are so many people who are so talented and have been to schools so if I just moved in it might be a little bit disheartening for the people who have been doing it for ages.
“I mean I would definitely consider but I don’t know if I’ve got the capacity in talent to do it, I mean I would absolutely love to, but I think there are better-qualified people out there.”
