Denise Van Outen's ex Eddie Boxshall turns air blue in foul-mouthed Instagram post

Denise Van Outen’s ex Eddie Boxshall has turned the air blue in a cryptic Instagram post following his split from the star.

The pair recently called time on their relationship after seven years together, with Denise saying on social media that she would “always treasure the good times” they had shared.

Eddie has now appeared to hit back in a mysterious message which seemed to be about moving on.

He shared a meme of a fist, emblazoned with the words: “Un**** yourself. Be who you were before all the stuff happened that dimmed your f****** shine.”

The Celebrity Gogglebox star wrote in the caption: “Be who you were!! #dontchange #getyourshineback.”

Denise, 47, and Eddie had been together since 2014.

The end of their relationship came to light in January, with The Sun alleging at the time that Eddie had been engaging in phone calls with other women.

Addressing the break-up on BBC Radio 2, Denise said she was “really proud” of herself for knowing when to draw a line under things.

The Steph’s Packed Lunch star – who has an 11-year-old daughter with her ex Lee Mead – said: “The one thing I am really proud of myself for is I do know when to walk away and I don’t like to be taken advantage of.

“Sometimes it’s been to the detriment of my own career or in my own relationships, but I just feel like it’s really important as a woman to have self-worth and self-respect.

“I’ve always tried to maintain that in anything that I do in life, generally. More so now as a mother because I feel like I’m a role model and I’ve got to set an example.”
