Doctor Who and Heartstopper star Yasmin Finney has said that she wants to be the first ever openly transgender Bond girl.
The 18-year-old actress, is keen to break boundaries with a role in the popular British spy franchise.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I love James Bond films.
“Every film I’ve seen, I’ve always thought, ‘I’d love to be that cool, sexy Bond girl’.
“It has never been done before, so it would be amazing to do it.”

Trans actress Caroline Cossey (inset, centre back), also known as Tula, was an extra in 1981 Bond flick For Your Eyes Only, but it wasn’t known she was trans until after its release.
Yasmin is on track to become one of the biggest stars on TV. She will play new character Rose in the next series of Doctor Who and also stars in global hit Heartstopper.
She added: “There is so much coming your way.
“I can’t wait for you all to see the trans magic coming to your screens in 2023.” Yasmin won an Icon gong at Attitude Pride Awards last week.
Yasmin shot to fame when she popped up in Netflix’s hit series Heartstopper earlier this year.
In the hit programme she played the role of Elle Argent, a trans girl who went to an all boys school before coming out as transgender.
In the show she then transferred to a grammar school for girls before falling in love with her boy best friend from her old school.
Having gained a sustainable amount of fans off the back of Heartstopper, Yasmin now has a whopping 1.6million Instagram followers.
