Drake has left his fans in disbelief as it was revealed his recent Vogue cover with fellow rapper 21 Savage is fake.
The Canadian rapper posted snaps of the magazine cover to his Instagram, confirming the edition would be available “on newsstands tomorrow”.
Drake even tagged iconic Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, thanking her for her “love and support”.

He wrote: “Me and my brother on newsstands tomorrow!! Thanks @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and support on this historic moment”.
Excited about the magazine release, fans flooded his comments to announce they’d be grabbing a copy, including model Winnie Harlow who commented: “Wow wow wow!! Buyinggggg”.
With so much excitement built up amongst his fanbase, fans where undoubtedly shocked to find out that the cover was fake and a parody of modern album rollouts.
He also faked a NPR Music Tiny Desk performance which sent fans crazy at the idea of the rapper performing acoustic versions of his hits.
NPR responded to the video, confirming it was fake, tweeting: “Let’s do it forreal tho” followed by a smirk and clapping emoji.
A fan took to Twitter to share his disbelief: “All this promoting that 21 and drake are doing for the album rn is apparently fake???”
Another chimed in, saying :””No way drake’s PR team gave me a fake vogue magazine for his new album and i didn’t realize until right now”.
Despite being made fools of, fans enjoyed Drake’s satire, with one tweeting: “Drake and 21 trolling us with a fake Vogue cover and a fake tiny desk. I’m loving this album roll out.”
