Eamonn Holmes hit back hilariously at viewers after they speculated he’s had a facelift.
Watching him on his new GB News breakfast show alongside co-host Isabel Webster, fans took to social media to call out the presenter.
The 62-year-old’s appearance has been much discussed on Twitter following the new show launching on January 3, reports BelfastLive.
One fan speculated: “Just put @GBNEWS on and hardly recognised @eamonnholmes.”
Another fan said: “Has he had a face-lift? I tend to think it’s more noticeable on men and his face definitely looks quite taut….
“His face, his money, just wondering if anyone knew.”
Another viewer said: “Of course we noticed!”
The Irish presenter was quick to shut down the claims and even made a witty joke from it.
Eamonn said: “Both of you… if I did, which I haven’t, I’d want my money back. Should have gone to Specsavers!”
The viewer responded to the former This Morning host: “Well you are definitely looking better than the last time I saw you on TV, so if you haven’t had any work done just take it as a compliment.
“Cheers for taking it in good humour.”
In Eamonn’s first week on GB News he thanked viewers for their support as they reached “record” figures.
He said: “As we reach the end of week 1, we are indebted to you for record @GBNews figures.
“So have your breakfast with us on TV or Radio… DAB+ Radio, TV Freeview 236, Sky 515, Virgin 626, You View 236 or Free Sat 216. More changes next week as we are both on air from 6 to 9.30 am.”
He has also admitted the one thing he was “dreading” before taking on his new job role.
Eamonn confessed he feared the early morning wake up due to “insomnia” despite his children buying him a new alarm clock.
