Eamonn Holmes 'in an awful lot of pain' after hospital dash from horror fall

GB News star Eamonn Holmes has fractured his shoulder in a scary fall at his home.

The presenter, 62, has been off work recovering after surgery to relieve pressure on his sciatic nerves, following months of pain.

And he’s now had to have a second operation after falling down the stairs.

His representative has told Express.co.uk: “As a consequence of being laid low by major surgery, Eamonn suffered a fall at home a couple of weeks ago and had to undergo another operation.

“He’s naturally gutted by the setback, but the good news is the surgery on his shoulder went well. He’s now receiving fantastic care and rest.”

Eamonn – who is married to Loose Women and This Morning star Ruth Langsford – had already taken time off from GB News because of his back.

The TV star had his back operation in late September and later assured fans that he would be back.

Appearing on GB News via video, he said: “I have to say, I’m by no means finished. I’ve got an appetite for my work, I want to do things and I love working with you in the morning.”

However, his rep said that after Eamonn’s latest health setback he was “likely to need a longer period off TV than he first thought in order to get himself better and heal”.
