Ben Mitchell confronts Lewis in EastEnders tonight (August 18).
Ben recently opened up to father Phil Mitchell about being raped by Lewis – with Phil’s sister Sam later kidnapping Lewis in scenes that aired earlier this week.
Phil and Sam take him to a warehouse in tonight’s episode, but when Lewis pulls a gun out on the siblings, things taken an even more sinister turn.

With Ben’s arrival, could Ben take the gun and turn it on Lewis? Or will Phil be stitched up for Lewis’ potential murder?
Here, Daily Star takes a closer look at the fan theories about Ben Mitchell.
Phil Mitchell stitched up by Sam
EastEnders viewers recently saw Sam Mitchell return to Albert Square, with the secret intention of bringing down the Mitchell family.
After Sam kidnapped Lewis following Ben’s heart to heart with Phil, some fans took to social media as they shared their concerns for Phil.
Some think that Sam might stitch Phil up if Lewis is murdered, with one saying: “I’m surprised that Phil didn’t suspect Sam of her plans or her other motives.”
“Is Sam trying to stitch Phil with Lewis?,” asked another, while a third added: “Phil isn’t convinced by Sam’s plan”
Although Phil might not be convinced by Sam’s plan, when the situation turns deadly between the characters in the warehouse, could Phil snap and kill Lewis – leading Phil to go back to prison?
A fourth fan said: “Phil, you roaring like a lion to take revenge on Lewis.”
However, other viewers think that Phil will not attack Lewis and will instead let him go so that he faces justice at the hands of the law, with one saying: “He’ll let Lewis go because he admitted to what he did to Ben that night.”
Lewis sentenced
Although Ben pulls the gun on Lewis, fans are hoping that he does not kill Lewis – and that the character is instead taken to court to face justice for raping Ben.
One said: “Don’t you dare Ben, he’s not worth it,” with a second adding: “Yes Ben, finally taking back his power. Hopefully he won’t actually shoot Lewis though, that’s really NOT what he needs right now sadly.”
Fans are also hoping that Ben will make Lewis confess on record – and that Phil and Sam will take Lewis to a police station to face justice for his crime.
“I think if Ben doesn’t kill or attack Lewis that is a good turning point for him. Ben realising that violence isn’t the answer would be eye opening for him, especially as he’s been brought up on that mantra. Ben needs proper secure closure and needs to heal,” said one fan.
A second added: “What he should do is record Lewis confessional.”
A third commented: “I hope he tells them [Sam and Phil] Lewis needs to be taken to a police station instead.”
Romance rekindled
One of the biggest fan talking points has been Ben’s relationship with ex Callum.
Many fans were devestated when the couple called off their relationship – but viewers have taken to social media to predict that it will not be long before they are back together.
“Callum only needs Ben and vice versa,” said one fan, while a second added: “Ben and Callum deserve to be happy.”
A third commented: “Everyone and their mum knows that Ben and Callum are going to reunite.”
“Please let Callum and Ben get back together and have their happily ever after” said a fourth.
Meanwhile not all fans agree, with a fifth commenting on the growing chemistry between Callum and Felix.
They said: “If a relationship does develop between Callum and Felix, there’s genuinely nothing wrong with that. Callum can’t and shouldn’t be expected to remain in limbo over Ben, a man who had paid him no respect throughout their relationship, he deserves more than that.”

Following Ben’s overdose, Lola told him that he could not see their daughter Lexi until he had received help for his mental health.
However, after Ben opened up to Phil, many fans think that he will also open up to Callum and Lola – leading to a reunion with her and daughter Lexi.
“Maybe now Ben’s finally opened up to Phil he’ll eventually find it easier to do the same with Callum and Lola? Here’s hoping,” said one fan.
Another fan said: “Ben and Lola scene” followed by a heart emoji, while a third commented: “I hope Ben get the help he needs.”
One viewer also said that whatever challenges come their way, Ben and Lola will always be family.
Sharing a photo of the cast together, one fan said: “To me this is family and it will always be regardless of what’s to come.”
