Adam’s appearance at CarFest comes shortly after the actor blasted a scammer for using his identity to try and swindle cash from fans.

The soap legend, who quit EastEnders last January, issued a warning to the public and shared a screenshot of the fake Instagram account which claimed they were his assistant.

The BBC star wrote: “This person is claiming to be my assistant. They are NOT. I do not have an assistant. Please ignore any messages from them relating to me.”
