EastEnders viewers have worked out how Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) will be exposed after she framed Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) for a car crash.
The Walford villain was in the driving seat when the car she and love rival Linda were travelling crashed in dramatic scenes which recently aired on BBC One.
However, in a huge plot twist, Janine decided to frame her enemy for the crash, by dragging her into the drivers’ seat.
Janine later decided to stage it so that it looked like Linda was in control of the car when it crashed, going as far as to pour half a bottle of alcohol all around the car.
A passer-by also stopped and asked if she was ok.
Claiming not to have her phone, sneaky Janine asked the lady to help out before running away to find her “lost dog”.
At the end of the episode, Janine was seen heading away with daughter Scarlett as her boyfriend Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) called her from the hospital to tell her that Linda has been injured and was in a coma.
Soap fans are convinced they know how Janine will be caught over her lies.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Doesn’t Janine watch any crime dramas? No point putting Linda in driver’s seat because bruising from seatbelt shows she was in passenger seat.”
Another added: “Oh Janine…..they’ll know someone moved her from the seatbelt marks, the drag marks, her mucky feet.”
A third person posted: “Linda would have a seatbelt mark on her left hand side.”
While a fourth social media user said: “Surely Linda gonna have seatbelt mark on her to show she was on passengers side of car.”
Janine hatched her masterplan following Linda’s threats to expose her for targeting Nancy Carter in a money scam.
Discussing why Janine came up with the scheme in the first place, Charlie told Digital Spy: “I think it’s panic.
“I think when she moves Linda, she’s doing whatever she can to not look guilty in this situation.
“This is when Janine is at her worst because she doesn’t think things through… or does she?
“It’s her natural instinct to save herself, she is ultimately the most self-centred person you can ever wish to meet.”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 8pm
