EastEnders Mick Carter exit 'sealed' as fans predict major Queen Vic con from Janine

EastEnders fans are convinced Mick Carter will leave the show after Janine Butcher ‘cons him out of’ the Queen Vic pub.

Over the festive period, the blonde bombshell made sure to meddle with Mick and Linda’s relationship as her feelings for the barman started to grow.

Ahead of the New Year’s celebrations, the loveable Londoner arranged for a Broadway-themed party to help reignite the passion in their relationship.

But while he was busy dressing up the Queen Vic, Janine grabbed his phone and texted Linda to say she was no longer invited to the party before she swiftly deleted the messages.

Since then, the pair have had a distanced relationship, leaving plenty of room for Janine to put on the charms for bar owner.

Now, fans are convinced the blonde belle will be reason the TV rogue leaves the show as viewers predict he will discover her meddling in due course – and she could even lose him the pub.

Taking to Reddit with their theories on Mick’s exit, one fan suggested: “Janine somehow cons him out of the Vic and leaves him with nothing.”

Someone else agreed: “WTF I never thought of this. That would be a shocker!”

Another worried fan said: “I [actually] don’t want Janine to have the Vic in the long term. [I know] she can get it, but if they will do that I’d rather they let Janine have the Vic but then quickly handing it over to someone like Phil or something after.”

A fourth said: “Ooooh, that’s a good one. Maybe she had genuine feelings and then realised it’s not going to work so she goes for the con, or maybe it was a really long con.

“Either way, it would work for the character and we’ve been needing a new baddie for a while now.”

“He gets conned into selling his half of the Vic to Janine it’s a repeat of the story line when Max signed over his part of Beale’s Place to Ian Beale in the divorce of Raine.

Her scheming has already put pressure on Mick’s marriage

“Then Mick somehow does a Keegan with Shirley and Ollie and Linda is back doing a Queen Vic power play [can’t] wait!” a fifth guessed.

It comes after actor Danny Dyer confirmed his exit from Walford, telling RadioTimes: “The big news is I’ve decided not to renew my contract. That’s all. That’s not because I’ve fallen out with anybody – I love everybody. That job has been amazing for me.”

He added of his EastEnders exit: “Let me tell you something – Mick’s exit is going to be a very, very powerful thing. I would love the door to be left open, and as far as I know it is.”

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
