EastEnders' Suki star looks miles away from character as she sizzles in holiday snaps

EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal wowed her fans with a series of sunkissed photos as she relaxed on holiday.

The actress – best known as Albert Square’s ruthless businesswoman Suki Panesar – was a far cry from her on-screen persona in the snaps where she relaxed on board a lavish boat before striping to her swimsuit to make the most of the deep blue sea around her.

Balvinder, 42, looked effortlessly glamorous as she strutted her stuff in a flattering floral sundress on board the vessel, posing up a storm as she flashed her legs for her fans.

The soap star also showed off her swimming skills as she relaxed in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea, making the most of her trip.

She captioned the post: “The Mediterranean Sea, Clean, Clear, Salty, Safe to swim in, (And a dodgy pose).”

Balvinder’s portrayal of Panesar family matriarch Suki has won her an army of fans in the hit BBC soap.

Suki was most recently seen struggling to come to terms with her actions after she believed she killed business partner Ranveer during distressing scenes where he attacked and attempted to rape her.

Suki struck Ranveer over the head with a mantle clock as she fought him off, leaving her thinking he was dead.

However, when his son Ravi stepped in to help Suki dispose of his father viewers saw that he in fact became his father’s true killer, striking the fatal blow after he started coming round when he was preparing to dispose of his body.

Balvinder previously told Inside Soap: “I love seeing the Panesars at the forefront of the storylines, not just in for diversity or representation.

“I want us to be just like the Carters or the Truemans or the Mitchells – interesting as a family, but also authentic to where we come from.

“Even with Kheerat’s line recently (Kheerat declared his turban wasn’t a hat, but ‘a crown’), Sikh people rejoiced about the fact that, in a single line, they had been represented. It’s a delicate balance – and it’s important that we get it right.”
