Emmerdale fans are convinced they have worked out the identity of one of the gang members who attacked Nicola King.
During Wednesday’s visit to the Yorkshire Dales, viewers were treated to a romantic evening with TV hunk Nate Robinson and newcomer Naomi Walters.
The raven-haired beauty arrived on the ITV soap in the middle of June after she discovered she was the long-lost daughter of beloved village vicar Charles Anderson.

But ever since her arrival things have started to take a turn for the worse in the village, from her father taking a suspiciously dangerous fall in the church to Nicola’s random attack by thugs.

As things start to heat up between the pair, fans have shared their concerns for blissfully ignorant heartthrob Nate as his relationship with the menacing newcomer starts to blossom into romance.
Over the past few months, eagle-eyed viewers have noticed that the brunette has been lurking in the background whenever anything terrible happens.
Now fans believe she may be one of the thugs behind Nicola’s traumatising attack back in June, just days after she arrived in the village.

As the romantic scenes between Nicola and Nate hit the airwaves, users took to Twitter to share their suspicions and warn Nate that he could be making a terrible mistake dating Naomi.
One user penned: “That new girl who’s came in Emmerdale, I think she might be in the gang who attacked Nicola #emmerdale.
Another agreed: “Naomi is so rude! I defo think she was one of the girls who attacked Nicola #Emmerdale.”
A third chimed in with: “Well I think that the vicar’s daughter in #emmerdale is going to turn out to be one of Nicola’s attackers.”

It comes after viewers predicted that Naomi has teamed up with twisted serial killer Meena Jutla during their shared time behind bars.
With the 50th anniversary and Halloween right around the corner, fans believe that Naomi may be one of Meena’s minions who is out to cause chaos in the village while she remains locked up.
One user penned: “I’m sure Naomi was in prison with Meena and they are planning to kill more people. Meena comes back in October for a few weeks. #Emmerdale.”
Another agreed: “Naomi is reeling Nate in please don’t let it happen he is too nice and she is vile #Emmerdale.”
A third pointed out: “She’s going the same way as Meena,” while one viewer added: “It’s because Naomi is doing Meena’s dirty work for her in prison #emmerdale.”
