Emmerdale fans were left cringing on Tuesday evening as Mandy Dingle reacted terribly to her son’s marriage news.
A few weeks ago, Vinny Dingle and his new wife Liv eloped without any of their family members knowing.
Once the happy couple returned to the famous village, they decided to keep their marriage secret to themselves but told their family and friends that they were engaged instead.
But devious Noah Dingle who discovered the couple’s marriage certificate broke the news to Mandy which left her reeling.
However, fans at home believed Mandy’s reaction was far too much and labelled it as “unhealthy”.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Mandy has way to much of an obsession with her Vinny and his life very unhealthy.”
Another said: “Mandy is well overreacting there.. Vinnie would of wanted you there but he knows you dislike Liv… if Vinnie doesn’t see you as his real mum he wouldn’t be around you and coming to sort things out..”
A third penned: “Mandy is being such a drama queen.. so long as they’re happy, surely that’s the important thing here…”
Meanwhile, a fourth viewer added: “Mandy’s confronted Vinny about it oh no and she’s upset she missed out on the big day feel for Mandy . Maybe they can have a party to make up for the family not being at the wedding.”
Later on, Mandy was still inconsolable about Vinny’s marriage and broke down in tears once again even though Vinny apologise profusely.
But although she was clearly upset, fans at home were still annoyed that Noah was the one to break the news to her in the first place.
Taking to Twitter again, annoyed Emmerdale fans aired their frustrations.
One person commented: “Noah is seriously dangerous. He’s a little busy body always prying into people’s business. A spell in the army would’ve sorted his nonsense.”
While another upset fan wrote: “Noah really is a nasty little t**t. Imagine doing something that malicious out of sheer spite just because someone quite rightly told you off for being rude.”
